There are over 250 known Plantago spp that grows abundantly throughout Europe and Asia with the majority of commercial material being sourced from Bulgaria, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland and the former Yugoslavia and USSR.[1]

Herbs in the Plantago genus have been prized as medicines since ancient Greece and Rome and features ubiquitously in historical writings from Pliny the Elder all the way through to Nicolas Culpeper.[2] The dried aerial parts are frequently documented to be traditionally prepared as infusions to be taken internally and used as rinses, gargles and topical treatments.[1]

Each 1mL contains herbal extract equiv. to fresh:
Plantago major (greater plantain) leaf 700mg
Plantago lanceolata (ribwort plantain) leaf 300mg

Solvents: 24% organic cane ethanol, 76% mountain spring water.

70% Plantago major
30% Plantago lanceolata

Recommended dose: 20-40mL per week.
Shake well before dispensing.
