Eyal brings more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience to the Blackmores Group as Managing Director of BioCeuticals.
Armed with strong leadership skills and a deep industry knowledge of FMCG and complementary medicines, Eyal has consistently delivered high performance results,innovation initiatives and change management in large multinational companies.
He advocates BioCeuticals’ reputation for integrity, innovation, quality and reliable practitioner support, and was appointed Managing Director in 2018. Eyal holds an MBA (Marketing) from Manchester University and a BA in Political Science and Management from Open University in Israel.
Kate McFadyen - Director Research & Development
An experienced and practising naturopath, Kate McFadyen has extensive experience in complementary medicine and product development.
At BioCeuticals, Kate’s roles have included Education Manager, Technical Manager and Senior Product Development Manager; she now heads the Product Development team as Director of Research, Product Development and Emerging Markets. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Health Science (Complementary Medicine), and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies (Psychology, HR).
Kate’s extensive experience in managing complex projects and deep understanding of naturopathy have been Integral to the formulation of a number of incredibly successful products including the probiotic and fish oil ranges. She is also the patent holder for the 2016 Canstar Blue award-winning IsoWhey Formulation.
Kate brings a vast array of expertise to the BioCeuticals Leadership Team.
Adrian Sturrock - Director of Finance
Adrian has over 25 years experience working in accounting and finance roles in Australia.
Adrian graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (with a double major in Accounting & Economics) from the University of New South Wales and is a member of Chartered Accountants ANZ.
Entering the workforce in 1991, Adrian worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 12 years in the Consumer & Industrial Products division of the Sydney office. Moving into commerce in 2003, Adrian worked in group finance roles at Qantas (ASX-listed) for six years, before moving into the complementary medicines industry with Blackmores (ASX-listed) in 2009. Adrian has been the Director of Finance at BioCeuticals since 2015.
With a technical accounting background from his “Big 4” experience and strong analytical skills, Adrian has a passion for financial management. He has a keen eye for detail, ensuring that the financial statements of the business are correct and that he has a thorough understanding of them. Business partnering to provide commercial support to other departments and process improvement in systems and controls are key areas of focus. Adrian has 18 years experience as a manager and enjoys the staff development aspects of his role.
Adrian is a member of the Audit Committee of Complementary Medicines Australia and also holds a Diploma of Investor Relations (AIRA).
Ian Curtinsmith - Chief Information Officer
Ian graduated in 1996 with a Associate Diploma in Electrical Technology and has over 15 years experience in Information Technology.
Ian is employed as the Chief Information Officer and has been with the company since 2009 and is responsible for all technology, information systems, telecommunications, websites and data management.
Prior to his employment with Bioceuticals Ian implement projects for large enterprises included work for GSM/Vodafone, Chartered Accounts, Officeworks, Clemenger and Colonial.
Ian is a regular at the Apple World Wide Developer Conference and a certified Apple Technician that brings a very modern approach to IT and is passionate about technology.
Ian is currently serving on the IT and Marketing committee of the International Probiotic Association (IPA) and is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors
