Extemporaneous Compounding Range. Under the BioCeuticals Clinical brand, these are a clinically relevant range of ingredients for healthcare practitioners to extemporaneously compound and dispense in private practice.

Medicines that are dispensed, or extemporaneously compounded, for therapeutic application for a particular person do not need to be included on the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG).

This allows complementary healthcare practitioners to prepare medicines for individual patients, after consultation, that do not need to be assessed or evaluated by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for quality, safety or efficacy.

These medicines are not formulated in advance with multiple ingredients, they are not in a capsule or tablet dosage form and are not prepackaged for other therapeutic purposes.

Information for compounding: 1/4 metric teaspoon (0.3 g) provides 270 mg L-theanine.
