Features of the Program

Women’s health is shaped by complex interactions between neural, endocrine, immune, and gastrointestinal systems. Join women's health expert and keynote speaker Dr Miranda Myles who will deep-dive into how hormonal transitions across the female lifespan influence metabolic function, immune activity, neurological health, and digestive integrity, contributing to the multifaceted clinical presentations often encountered in practice.

Hosted by naturopath and fx Medicine powered by BioCeuticals ambassador Lisa Costa-Bir and featuring clinical naturopath Emma Sutherland, this full-day seminar explores women’s health from menarche through to menopause and the interconnected systems that influence hormonal balance and long-term health outcomes.

The seminar examines menarche as a key neuroendocrine and immunological turning point, including how early hormonal maturation may interact with neurodevelopment and influence long-term reproductive and metabolic health.

Common clinical presentations including amenorrhoea, polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), endometriosis, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and autoimmune conditions will be explored through the lens of metabolic dysfunction, inflammation, immune activation, and microbiome disruption. Particular attention will be given to how hormonal transitions influence autoimmune conditions such as Hashimoto’s and autoimmune thyroid disease.

The program is supported by Emma Sutherland, who brings her lived experience of discovering her "why," demonstrating how a strong sense of purpose can foster lasting motivation, business success, and longevity in clinical practice in "Meaning, money and longevity in clinical practice".

In this powerful and refreshingly honest presentation, Emma Sutherland, naturopathic clinician and clinic director for over two decades, reveals the real story behind running a successful health practice including the money beliefs that keep practitioners stuck and the simple shifts that create freedom. Drawing on her own journey from financial stress to financial confidence, Emma shows why financial literacy is not just about income, it’s about energy, boundaries, and longevity in practice.

If you want to work with purpose without burning out, and build a career that supports your life, not consumes it, this is a session you don’t want to miss.
