To obtain the authority to use images or logos belonging to BioCeuticals, and text or articles supplied by BioCeuticals on the account holder’s’ website and any other media including but not limited to printed brochures, newsletters, e-newsletters, account holders must first gain written permission from the BioCeuticals Marketing Manager or Brand Manager. Once written permission has been granted, the account holder must strictly abide by the following rules contained in this document.
Under no circumstances are images, logos or text to be taken directly from any BioCeuticals material (website, electronic or printed matter) unless prior written permission has been granted by the BioCeuticals Marketing Manager or Brand Manager.
The use of all BioCeuticals images, logos and other materials supplied by BioCeuticals either electronically or printed, must clearly credit the source as being BioCeuticals and be limited to usage permitted by BioCeuticals. See points 2 and 3 below for correct wording of reference.
All content regarding the BioCeuticals brand and products, including but not limited to its graphics, must be checked and approved by the BioCeuticals Marketing Manager or Brand Manager in writing prior to its release/publication.
Any written permission from BioCeuticals expires after a 12-month period and so all content must be resubmitted to the BioCeuticals Marketing Manager or Brand Manager for review and written approval to continue to be displayed or distributed for a further 12 months.
Section 1 - Use of BioCeuticals logo
1 (a) The BioCeuticals logo may be used in the following three ways:
(i) Crest PMS 871 and logo type PMS 288 on white background.
(ii) Crest PMS 871 and logo type whiteout on PMS 288 blue background.
(iii) Crest PMS 288 and logo type white on PMS 871 gold background.
1 (b) At all times when the BioCeuticals logo is displayed, it must be in proportion to the original logo supplied. For example, if X axis is 60% of original size then the Y axis has to be 60% of original size.
1 (c) An exclusion zone must be maintained around the BioCeuticals logo at all times.
An exclusion zone is the minimum blank or unobstructed area around the BioCeuticals logo.
The exclusion zone must be equal to the height of the B in BioCeuticals. This distance must be established around all 4 sides of the logo.
1 (d) The minimum size for the reproduction of the identity must be no less than 25mm, based on
the width of the BioCeuticals logo.
1 (e) Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the BioCeuticals logo must never be reproduced in the following ways:
(i) Crest and logo type flipped.
(ii) Use of logo type without the crest.
(iii) Use of crest without the logo type.
(iv) Colour of the logo changed.
(v) Placement of any version of the logo on an image background. (The logo must always be placed on a solid, flat colour).
(vi) The BioCeuticals logo must never be saved directly from the Bioceuticals' website. (The only BioCeuticals logo to be used must be supplied directly by BioCeuticals).
Section 2 - Use of images supplied by BioCeuticals
2 (a) You may only use images supplied by BioCeuticals after gaining BioCeuticals’ written permission.
2 (b) Images supplied by BioCeuticals are only to be used in the manner stated in agreement with BioCeuticals. If you wish to use the images for another project, permission from BioCeuticals must be attained prior to use.
2 (c) All images must be in proportion to the original supplied image.
2 (d) Any images supplied by BioCeuticals must be accompanied by the following reference or footnote to the source: “Image supplied by BioCeuticals. ‘BioCeuticals’ is a trademark of FIT-BioCeuticals Limited. All copyright, trademarks, design rights, and other intellectual property rights for this image is owned by FIT-BioCeuticals Limited. All such rights are reserved by FIT-BioCeuticals Limited.”
Section 3 - Use of text and/or articles supplied by BioCeuticals
3 (a) All text, articles and stories supplied by BioCeuticals remain, at all times, the property of BioCeuticals.
3 (b) Under no circumstances is any supplied text to be sent to a third party for use prior to gaining written permission from BioCeuticals.
3 (c) Any text supplied by BioCeuticals must be accompanied by a reference or footnote to the source, in Vancouver referencing style. E.g. Whitfield-Cook A. Evolution of the T-Helper Cell Paradigm. BioCeuticals FX Medicine volume 65. 2011; page 12.
Please note that final artwork must be sent back to and signed off by BioCeuticals Marketing Manager or Brand Manager prior to materials going to print or being published electronically. This includes but is not limited to logos and artwork displayed in any form online, in eNewsletters, on websites or in any offline communication.
BioCeuticals reserves the right to modify this Intellectual Property Policy at any time, without prior notification.
