Living in a Viral World - Part 2

Living in a Viral World - Part 2

The clinical management of post-viral syndromes requires a broad and multifaceted understanding of the pathophysiology behind post-viral fatigue and its neuroinflammatory clinical correlates.

Infection with SARS-CoV-2 world-wide has exponentially accelerated the need to connect multi-system function and assessments when the patient remains mysteriously unwell three months past the acute stage of viral illness. It has become necessary to apply a holistic, chronic disease approach to the unexpected fatigue syndrome sequelae, with integrative and naturopathic practitioners well placed to assess and support these patients.

This webinar will cover the key relevant strategies in post-viral syndromes including immuno-metabolism, endothelial dysfunction, and mast cell activation.

 * The content of Clinical Mastery is intended to provide high level information for healthcare professionals and may not include all relevant information in relation to medications/drug interactions/product ingredients. Specific and tailored advice is required for each patient.

Please note that at this time registrations for this live educational event are only open to Australian healthcare professionals and/or students who meet the BioCeuticals account application requirements.

Naturopathic Educators, Natalie Koshka and Sarah Clarke will translate the research highlights and patient management insights from Session 1 Post-viral Syndromes: New Paradigms and Perspectives for Patient Care presented by Dr Christabelle Yeoh into actionable insights that you can effortlessly integrate into your clinical practice.

This live and online 45-minute masterclass will draw on a real-life clinical case study to ensure you return to your clinic with greater confidence in managing patients with concomitant infections or viral reactivation. 15 minutes of the session will be dedicated to live Q+A with Natalie and Sarah to help you shape Christabelles’ treatment recommendations into practical management ideas for patients in your clinic.

* The content of Clinical Mastery is intended to provide high level information for healthcare professionals and may not include all relevant information in relation to medications/drug interactions/product ingredients. Specific and tailored advice is required for each patient.

  • Develop a road map for understanding the heterogeneity and multi factorial nature of post-viral syndromes such as Long Covid
  • Build an awareness of Long Covid as a new type of post viral syndrome, with research unifying integrative models of care
  • Learn about where the gut-brain axis, the neuro-immune axis and mitochondrial health fit into the management of post viral syndromes.
  • Develop an action plan for a multi-factorial approach in the management post viral syndromes including Long Covid

* The content of Clinical Mastery is intended to provide high level information for healthcare professionals and may not include all relevant information in relation to medications/drug interactions/product ingredients. Specific and tailored advice is required for each patient.

CPD points apply. Each session is classified as 1 hour of learning.
