Histaminosis and Oestrogen: Breaking the Cycle

Histaminosis and Oestrogen: Breaking the Cycle

Histamine and oestrogen have an intimate relationship physiologically; this inter-relationship is often responsible for a raft of seemingly unrelated symptoms – from hives and headaches to anxiety and insomnia. Many common and clinically challenging patient presentations have histaminosis as a complicating factor, including PMS and PMDD.

Clinically, the key strategies to breaking this cycle lie in the practitioner’s ability to first identify those at risk, confidently test and interpret the relevance of pathology results, and then, using this information, action the most effective prescription for the individual.

Over two clinical masterclasses, Rhiannon will outline the key clinical steps involved in identifying, assessing, and managing women affected by the complicated relationship between histamine and oestrogen. Special attention will be paid to menstrual symptom management, including physical and mental health presentations.

* The content of Clinical Mastery is intended to provide high level information for healthcare professionals and may not include all relevant information in relation to medications/drug interactions/product ingredients. Specific and tailored advice is required for each patient.

Please note that at this time registrations for this live educational event are only open to Australian healthcare professionals and/or students who meet the BioCeuticals account application requirements.

Women’s health specialists Rhiannon Hardingham and Kate O’Flynn will translate the research highlights and patient management insights from Session 1 Histaminosis and Oestrogen: Breaking the Cycle into actionable insights that you can effortlessly integrate into your clinical practice.

This live and online masterclass will draw on a real-life clinical case study and feature the combined experience of two renowned clinical Naturopaths to ensure you return to your clinic with greater confidence supporting female patients with histaminosis.

15 minutes of the session will be dedicated to live Q+A.
