A new hypothesis has emerged linking asthma to suboptimal vitamin D levels.
It is estimated that more than two million Australians suffer from asthma.1
The prevalence of asthma in Australia is high by international standards, although the last few years has seen a slight decrease in asthma rates in children and young adults.
